About me
I earned my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and began my career at a community mental health agency, where I provided counseling services to children and their families. Working with children ages 3 to 19 and their parents gave me firsthand insight into how stress and mental health concerns affect the entire family system.
My personal experience as a mother, former military spouse, and current law enforcement spouse provides valuable perspective on the unique challenges these families often face. These experiences sparked a passion for supporting adults and parents as they navigate stress, burnout, trauma, and life transitions while striving to care for themselves and those around them.
I use a strengths-based, individualized approach, drawing from evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and person-centered therapy. I believe therapy is not one-size-fits-all — care should reflect each individual’s experiences, strengths, and goals.
I strive to provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can process your experiences, build resilience, and reconnect with your strengths. Even when you feel stuck, movement is possible. My role is to partner with you as you regain confidence, develop effective coping strategies, and move forward with greater clarity and self-trust, You do not have to navigate this alone.
